Temporary Total Disability and Permanent Total Disability

Representation for When You Are Injured on the Job

Compensation for When Your Injury Prevents You From Working

Temporary total disability (TTD) and permanent total disability (PTD) provide workers who have been injured on the job with the compensation they need to sustain their standards of living. Our office in the Kroger Building of downtown Cincinnati has helped workers throughout Southern Ohio recover the compensation they need when they've suffered a workplace accident.

Attorneys Mark Weisser and Scott Wolf are proud to have been recognized by the Ohio State Bar Association as Workers' Compensation Specialists. Only a select group of attorneys receive this recognition, and it is a symbol of the hard work, experience and knowledge we put forward for the people of Ohio.

Contact The Law Office of Weisser & Wolf for ethical and effective Ohio workers' compensation representation when you've been injured on the job and are unable to work.

Understanding Temporary Total Disability (TTD)

TTD provides compensation for people injured on the job whom are temporarily unable to work. Based on your income history, you receive biweekly compensation while you recover from your injuries. To qualify for TTD, you must have been injured in a work-related incident, and the injury needs to prevent you from being able to perform your regular duties.

The BWC or your employer may attempt to terminate your TTD benefits when you reach your maximum medical improvement (MMI). Often times, however, your doctor may feel you have not reached MMI and you will need to fight for your benefits at a hearing. We will be there at your hearing so that your rights are protected.

Whether you have been injured and need representation to ensure that you are receiving maximum TTD benefits or you have reached your MMI and your benefits are about to end, put our workers' compensation attorneys to work for you. Contact us today to explore all of your options and maximize your benefits.

Understanding Permanent Total Disability

Permanent total disability (PTD) pays compensation to workers who have been injured on the job and are completely and permanently unable to work in any meaningful capacity. A workers' compensation benefit for the rest of your life, PTD is designed for workers who have suffered a permanent and catastrophic injury. Permanent total disability is decided at a hearing, which we would attend on your behalf before the Industrial Commission.

Our office has built a reputation over the last two decades for helping Ohio workers who have been seriously injured. If you have suffered a permanent disability that prevents you from acquiring employment, or if you were permanently injured, but can still find gainful employment, put our lawyers to work for you.
